The Hilton Anaheim is always proud to use our hospitality and service culture to enhance the communities in which we live. Supported by our Hilton Anaheim Blue Energy Committee, Hilton Anaheim Team Members participate in a variety of activities including fundraisers, donation drives and volunteer events throughout the year.
Recently, Hilton Anaheim Team Members have raised money for organizations such as Family Justice Center of Orange County, Fristers, The Orangewood Children’s Foundation and many others. Our largest and most successful fundraiser has been participating in the annual CHOC Walk in the Park benefitting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County where we have raised over $17,000 in the last two years.
Our donation drives have included school supplies of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, pet food and supplies for OC Animal Care, canned food drives for the OC Food Bank and for the Second Harvest Food Bank, and holiday toys for the Salvation Army. We also proudly support the American Red Cross with semi-annual blood donation drives.
Our Hilton Anaheim Team Members can also be seen in our community volunteering their time at the Anaheim Boys and Girls Club, participating in local park clean-ups, and serving turkey dinners to families on Thanksgiving Day at the We Give Thanks event at the Honda Center.
The Hilton Anaheim was also one of the major sponsors for “Experience Hospitality:Orange County” in partnership with the California Restaurant Association Education Foundation. During this event, over 400 students from local high schools and community colleges are given tours of Anaheim theme parks, hotels and restaurants and are provided with an opportunity for career exploration as well as access to educational resources for future hospitality professionals.
